External Link (Page Plugin)

Purpose

The plug-in allows to open an external link directly from OMN sidebar, e.g. a reference to another website or to an online documentation.

Mandators → <Mandator name> → Page plug-ins → ExternalLink

You can use the plug-in as follows:

To configure the External Link plugin, following preconditions should be given:

The External Link Plugin does not support other direct plugins.

Configuration identifier

Name of the specific configuration of the plug-in.

URL

URL of the external link

Object types

Choose the appropriate object type:

Open in new window:
- Depending on the browser settings, the link opens in a new window or tab
Replace application:
- Closes the Frontend and opens the link instead in the active window

Enter the name of configuration in the 'Configuration identifier' field.
- The name should be unique.
Fill in the 'URL' field.
Select 'Open in new window' or 'Replace application' Object type.
Execute 'Save configuration' function.
