Tools

This page provides the possibility to define which tools for different annotation types should be available in the floating toolbar of Annotation Tool.

Here you can see two sections with settings:

Tool availability table

The Tool availability table provides the possibility to activate tools for the Annotation Tool.

Name of option Description Note

Availability
The column contains checkbox:

  1. If checked - tool is available in the UI, tool is available in Preview of floating toolbar;

  2. If unchecked - tool is not available in the UI, tool isn’t available in Preview of floating toolbar.

Tool
All configurable tools are listed:

  1. Annotation tool;

  2. Text callout tool;

  3. Line tool;

  4. Arrow tool;

  5. Circle tool;

  6. Rectangle library tool;

  7. Freehand tool;

  8. Polyline tool;

  9. Measure tool;

  10. Icon from library tool;

  11. Textpointer tool;

  12. Rotate left;

  13. Rotate right;
Availability checkbox is always checked and disabled for these tools:

  1. Rotate left;

  2. Rotate right.

Tool-info

Сolumn contains the info icon for every tool.
On hover a detailed description is available about main usecase of the tool.
The table contains buttons to move selected tool up or down.
The vertical order of tools represents the order of tools in the UI.

Custom attributes

This section lists the configured attributes for the Annotation Tool. The custom attributes can be maintained for each made annotation in the comment view.
