OMN requires Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 [OMN-9979, OR-1221]

OMN 5.12 requires Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 9 (RHEL 9/Rocky 9) as host operating system (cp. [OMN-9979] Upgrade from RHEL 7 to 9, [OR-1221] OMN Should work on base of RedHat 9).

Lower RHEL versions (eg. RHEL 7) are not supported anymore.

Migration Steps

Existing RHEL 7 systems can not just be updated. At least we can’t guarantee that OMN will work as expected anymore. So new RHEL 9 systems must be setup with OMN 5.12.
