PEO View

A PEO (Product Export Option) is a view for product export options (product attributes exported per target channel) that is a collection of information about products. Because PEOs are used for further publishing in different contexts, the collection of product attributes varies depending on the specific channel (e.g., print or web) to which the PEOs are directed. This makes it possible to control which product information ends up in which channel. In addition, depending on the settings, channel-specific product attributes (such as seasonal texts) can be edited and extracted without changing the central product attributes in the PIM. If desired, data from target channels (such as InDesign) can also be written back to the PIM via the PEO.
