Docker and Docker-Compose are installed (e.g. required for the HTML5 UI, OMN Search and Camaunda Workflow Engine)

Java 8

If you have installed more than one Java VM, please make sure that your system is configured to use Java> = 1.8 (for RH use: alternatives --config java).

If your system configuration refers to an older Java version, the RPM installation will fail.

The database system is available and ready for operation get supported:

A backup solution must be available that enables consistent data backup and data recovery from (virtual) servers & Oracle or MS SQL databases

With virtualization, a professional & established virtualization solution is required as virtualization software (e.g. VMware or Hyper-V)

File server:

File server for the OMN data pools. The recommended release is NFS (v3 or v4) or CIFS.

If you want to work directly on the OMN data pools, HELIOS is required instead (not included in OMN)

If the Helios file system is used instead of the generic file system:

Configured Helios server with volumes for the already created OMN system
