The photos on Pixabay are subject to the so-called 'Pixabay license', which basically allows the free commercial and non-commercial use of the images as long as some conditions are observed.

Skitterphoto was launched in 2014 by passionate amateur photographers from the Netherlands.

Skitterphoto offers a wide range of images, all of which are in the public domain. This means you can download, edit and even use them commercially for free.

SplitShire is a source for free stock photos and videos from various categories such as abstract, animals, fashion, food, technology, nature, people, weddings or landscapes.

The photos offered at Unsplash usually fall under the CC0 license (see here)
