Simple Search
Purpose of the plugin
With the Simple Search function plugin, preconfigured quick searches can be provided for the search field on the OMN Search page.
Each Simple Search instance defines which search configuration is used to display the results and which attributes are searched with which comparator when the user enters a search term.
Possible usage of the plugin
The Simple Search function plugin can be used in:

Preconditions
There must be at least one Advanced Search or Formbased Search page plugin instance configured, because the results of the Simple Search are displayed in the content view of an Advanced Search / Formbased Search.
To use a Simple Search in the frontend, it must be activated in the OMN Search page plugin.

The search results of a Simple Search are displayed in the content view of the Advanced Search / Formbased Search instance selected as default page plugin configuration.
