Upgrade to 5.12
The following tasks must be executed (dependent to your system environment and needs).

Sequential upgrades required
If you are upgrading from a version older than 5.11, you must execute all previous update/upgrade/migration steps sequentially (e.g. 5.4 → 5.5 → … → 5.11). To do that please follow the corresponding release notes pages. E.g. Upgrade (to 5.11) |
To upgrade your OMN systems (from 5.11) to OMN 5.12.0 you have to do the following steps:
1. Make sure that all prerequisites are met ( → ADMIN)

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 required
The host operating system must be RHEL 9. Previous versions are not supported. So you have to setup new systems based on RHEL 9. Updating old (RHEL 7 based) systems is not an option. → OMN requires Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 ( → ADMIN) |
2. Check Release Notes ( → ALL)
Before you start to upgrade OMN check the 5.12 Release Notes to get an overview over important information.
3. Adapt NGINX configuration ( → ADMIN)
Update the NGINX configuration if needed. Cp.

4. Re-configure License Server ( → ADMIN)
A new version of the OMN License Server is available to support Docker environments. If the new license server should be used, the configuration and license must be adapted. → OMN License server was replaced
9. Ensure that AI Workflow related breaking changes are handled
→ Apply required Auth Changes for Clarifai Update 9.3 before 30 March 2023 (Tagging) ( → CONFIG, DEV)
→ Adjust execution strategy if needed (Google Translation) ( → CONFIG, DEV)
