Search Page Plugin

Purpose of the plugin

The Search page plugin provides the central search page of the OMN system.
It combines the search bar with configurable search tiles (Simple Searches), the Expert Searches modal (Advanced and Formbased Searches) and an optional Duplicate Search.

Access the plugin via

Modules → Page plugins → Search

Possible usage of the plugin

The Search page plugin is used as the OMN Search page in the UI client.

Preconditions

No preconditions to configure the Search page plugin.

Supported plugins

The Search page plugin supports the configuration of search plugins (Simple Searches, Advanced and Formbased Searches) and the Duplicate Search page plugin.

General configuration

The configuration of the Search page plugin includes the following parts:

On this page the user can define the general behavior of the search field, like providing suggestions while typing.
